Tenanted homes and communal areas looked after day to day.
From one room to a full strip-out, on a written programme.
Small jobs cleared properly, bigger jobs run for you.
The building decides what the job involves. These are the things we check first here.
Barnsbury, Canonbury and Highbury are built around Georgian and early Victorian terraces, much of it in conservation areas. Sash windows, lime plaster, timber floors and original joinery are worth repairing rather than replacing where the fabric allows, and the quote says which approach we are taking and why.
Much of Islington’s rental stock is in converted houses and purpose-built blocks, with shops below flats along the main roads. We work around tenants and trading hours, and landlords should check whether any of the council’s property licensing schemes apply to their building.
Areas we cover in Islington (N1, N5, N7, N19 and EC1):
Free site visit, itemised written quote, a programme agreed around the occupier, regular updates, then a joint walk-through at handover. See the full process.
We cover the whole borough, from Clerkenwell and Angel up to Archway. Tell us the postcode when you enquire and we will confirm.
Yes. In period buildings we repair original detail rather than replace it where the fabric allows, and where something has to be replaced we say so in the quote.
Usually, yes. We tell you at the site visit what will be out of use and for roughly how long, and agree access times with the tenant.
For a defined scope, yes. Most jobs are quoted as a fixed price after the site visit, and any change to the scope is agreed in writing before we carry on.
We also work in Camden, Westminster and across central London.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00.
