Cookies and Tracking

This page explains what this website stores on your device and what it loads from other companies. We have written it to describe what the site actually does, rather than to list cookies we do not use.

This website does not use cookies

Systasisproperties.co.uk sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising or remarketing tags, no social media pixels and no session tracking. Nothing is written to your browser’s local storage or session storage.

Because we store nothing on your device beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the page, we are not required to ask for your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and you will not see a cookie banner here. If we ever add analytics or marketing technology, we will ask for your consent before it loads, and refusing will be as easy as agreeing.

What the site does load

Google Fonts

The site loads its typeface from Google’s font service at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google does not set a cookie for this, but making the request does disclose your IP address, and the address of the page you are viewing, to Google LLC in the United States. This is the only third party this website contacts.

If you would rather this did not happen, blocking those two domains in your browser or with an extension will stop the request. The site will still work, and will fall back to a standard system typeface.

Web server logs

Our web host keeps standard server logs of requests to the site, including IP address, timestamp, the page requested and basic browser information. These are not cookies and are not used to build a profile of you. They exist so the service can be kept running, and so that misuse and attacks can be investigated. Our privacy notice explains the basis for this.

The enquiry form on our contact page also keeps a short-lived anti-spam counter on the server, holding a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour. That is stored on the web server and not on your device, so it is not a cookie and needs no consent. The form itself sets nothing on your device.

Controlling this yourself

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and restrict what sites are allowed to load. Since we set no cookies, those settings will not change how this site behaves, beyond the typeface point above.

Changes to this page

If we add any cookie or tracking technology to this website, we will update this page before it goes live and put a consent mechanism in place where the law requires one.
