Handyman services in central London

The jobs that are too small for a contractor to bother with and too fiddly to keep putting off. We book them in, do them properly, and price them in writing before we start. Several small jobs can be handled in one visit.

Typical clients

Who calls us for this

Mostly people who want one visit to clear a list, and one invoice at the end of it.

Landlords and agents

Turnaround work between tenancies.

Check-out snagging, small repairs and making good before the next tenancy starts. We can attend the property directly and arrange access with the outgoing or incoming occupier.

Offices and homeowners

Occupied premises where the work has to fit around people.

Work scheduled outside trading or working hours where it needs to be. For offices we can hold a running list and clear it on a regular visit.

Process

How the job runs

Small jobs skip nothing: they are still quoted and signed off. Site survey, fixed written quote, scheduled works, then a joint sign-off. See the full process.

FAQ

Common questions

More on the general FAQ page.

Is there a minimum job size?

No. We take on single repairs through to full refurbishments. Smaller jobs may be scheduled alongside other work in the same area, which keeps the cost down.

Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

By the job. You get a written price before we start, so you know the cost in advance. Where a list of small jobs is being cleared in one visit, the quote covers the list.

Can you do electrical and plumbing work?

Minor plumbing such as taps, traps and toilet fittings, yes. Notifiable electrical work and gas work are carried out by the appropriately qualified trades, which we arrange and coordinate.

Can you clear several small jobs in one visit?

Yes, and it is usually the cheapest way to do it. Send the full list when you enquire so the visit is scheduled with enough time on site.

What if the job turns out to be bigger than it looked?

We stop and tell you before carrying on. Any change to the scope or the price is agreed in writing first.

Send us your list and we will price it.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00.
