Common questions
The questions clients ask most often before instructing us.
Do you manage property, or just carry out the works?
Both. Where a landlord, freeholder or management company wants ongoing responsibility taken off their hands, we manage the property day to day and deal with repairs as they arise. We also carry out the works ourselves, so most jobs do not need a separate contractor.
Do you manage blocks and communal areas?
Yes. We look after common parts for freeholders, residents management companies and RTM companies, covering communal repairs, redecoration, external fabric and scheduled inspections. Quoted works are put to the board in writing before anything is instructed.
Do you collect rent or hold deposits?
No. We do not carry out letting agency work, we do not collect rent, and we do not hold money or deposits belonging to landlords or tenants. Our work is managing and maintaining the building itself.
Do you provide written quotes?
Yes. Every job is quoted in writing before work starts, following a site survey. The quote is itemised and does not change once accepted, except where the client requests additional work.
Do you work with managing agents?
Yes. We regularly work directly with managing agents and landlords, including for multi-unit and end-of-tenancy refurbishment, with reporting suited to a portfolio of properties.
